I remember having direct discussions in 2003 with Katja Kassin and Tricia Devereaux, and a little later with Mylie Moore on how tough it was to be a thicker girl in porn and all the hurtful shit they had to endure to try and make it in the industry.

It was only when the smaller, independent pro porn companies that catered to specific niches started to appear, like West Coast Productions, Evasive Angles, Exquisite, and started producing big booty and ethnic porn giving us more of what we were looking for in thick and big booty women, did the tide start to change. Rodney Moore was one of the strangest characters in porn, but he made a lot of money and provided a valuable service giving us porn with scruffier, regular looking, ’round the way women. Most of them were thick and did not look like typical porn women. Same with Sensational Video, (now Plumper Pass). They’ve been around over thirty years giving us women from thick to fat, and breaking some of the most popular girls that we came love. Does anybody remember the Chunky Chicks video line? They were terribly produced and many of the women were not attractive, but they filled a hole in the market at the time.

And once the website and amateur porn producers got going, we really started heading towards the happiness that we enjoy now. I’m not sure I can ever repay that Onion Booty guy. That was a gateway drug for me.
