      You might have to make sure you check assoholics daily… certain vids like this I tend wait a little while before bumpin’ them (unless they go down within the first 3 days)

      The dude “Orion” that owns the site gets hella emotional about his content being shared… He also thinks he’s WAY smarter than he is… He drops his lil’ comments on here, from time to time behind a VPN & “Scary User Name” talkin’ shit. LFMAO!

      I be SUPER close to adding his ALL of his shit to torrents & free links ALL across the internet, just to show him how DUMB he is….

        I did that shit once a long time ago, I get this is a cat and mouse game.

        Nevertheless, if you are plotting to share more of my stuff in response to whatever, then somehow it is touching a nerve, so maybe there is some truth to it, and maybe I should explore more into it :/

        Why wouldn’t someone care that someone is monetizing and sharing content of theirs elsewhere ? That is a wild ask honestly.

        No one will ever be cool with someone sharing their content, imagine if someone cloned this blog and was posting all you shared without a payment gateway, that would frustrate you and affect your bottom line.

          Good job postin’ ya name & keepin’ it a buck…. You don’t have to worry about the torrent/free link shit… I never did/do that to any independent site. Even when we have vids the first day they drop, we don’t usually post’em up…

          For the game to work correctly, smaller sites like yours HAVE to be able to eat.
          Torrents/free links everywhere would completely kill a site like yours… I’m well aware of that, & that’s never been the aim.

    Truth is no one who comes to this site was ever going to pay for your stuff anyway @Orion. You’re not losing any money leaving it up. The ones who want to see more of your content will sub to your site to help you grow and support the content, the ones that don’t never were in the first place.

    Taking it down just lowers your overall viewership in the long run because less people will be able to see the work you put in. That’s just the way it is with digital media.

      There’s ALOT of truth to this.

      But, most of the smaller indy sites don’t really wanna hear it, because…. To them, Assoholics is stopping them from being multi-millionaires.

      TO BE REAL, I did see an uptick in sales while it was up. But it is like a cosine wave, the advantage for me increases and peaks, then falls off more towards RFM. If i were to find a sweet spot in terms of time, given that RFM seems not to be out to destroy my business I would wait a bit, but I am not sure for how long so I do not take that risk.

      By the fact I seen an increase in sales does tell me that they the ones who do download from here actually do buy content, well enough for me to see the uptick. The content coming up here does increase exposure since this is a highly trafficked site. I guess they see the vid here they like and follow the watermark to get more instead of waiting for someone to release it here.

      A big thank you to those that do buy coming from this forum.
