Yeah, as most will tell you. My girl Vanessa was the queen of porn from the mid 70’s through the late 80’s. Though I wasn’t born till 82, and didn’t get into porn till I was about 12. Now get this and you’re going to find this mad funny. We only had HBO. We didn’t have Showtime or Cinemax, but luckily how it use to be. At least with Jones intercable. The days wayyyy before Comcast. Even if you didn’t have the channel, you could still see it. Now, you had to deal with all the light wavy white lines that would go from left to right, down the screen the whole time, but hey, you could still see it,lol. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about with that kind of picture and if you don’t know, you had two versions of that. You had the version where the channel would make that high pitch noise or like ours, it was very subtle but you could still hear the dialogue, music etc. Awww man, those were the days. I use to have tapes full. Now here is the part where I said you were going to laugh. I’m the type of person where when I want something, I will do whatever I have to, to get it. I didn’t have a cable box in my room. My parents room and the downstairs t.v were the only 2 that had boxes.

So eventhough the downstairs t.v had a box, my parents room was the only one where we had it hooked up to the vcr. The downstairs t.v was one of those older t.v’s that weighed over 100 pounds and was in those wooden casings. You know, the t.v’s that were real big in the 80’s. You couldn’t hook up a vcr to it cause it was so old. So what I would do is, I would wait till my parents were asleep. Sneak in their room, put a tape in the vcr, turn the box to the channels throughout the night and record the shows. You didn’t have to have the t.v on to record. All you had to make sure of, was that it was on the channel. Man, you talk about some serious espionage skills night to night. Of course, EVERYTHING made noise louder then it did during the day, lol. The wooden boards in the floor, the tape sliding into the vcr, the cable box buttons. Taking the tape back out the vcr when I finished etc etc. I am amazed that out of all the times I did that for a few years, I NEVER got caught. Not even once. Depending on the situation, like if my mom couldn’t sleep and she kept getting up throughout the night or if my dad’s snoring kept waking her up. You know how it goes when you’re trying to do something you shouldn’t be doing, lol. Things happen that never usually happen. Sometimes I would just leave the tape in there and let it record till they left for work. Then I would go in after they left to get the tape. Of course, I’m in the other room sweating bullets, heart pounding cause when the vcr would record, a big red light that stood out in a dark room came on. Not only that, I would worry, if I run out of tape, when it rewinds itself, all that noise and when it ejects(that actually happened a few times). Awww man, so many nights I just knew, this was it. This is when my parents were going to find out. Not only that I watch porn but I sneak in their room to record it but again, luckily, the never knew I did that. Yep, that’s how it ALLL started for me man.
