The biggest game event of the year. Actually how it works is. All the huge console companies, Sony, Microsoft as well as gaming cmpanies etc come out on the stage, then they spend however long for their session, premiering exclusives coming for their console and cross platforms etc. This year, it was said to be God Of War 5, Spiderman 2 etc and lord knows what else. There are always a few games that weren’t leaked that premiere, which flips the whole world upside down. Like Devil May Cry 5 two years agpo, Final Fantasy 7 remake a few years ago. Now as far as EVO, awww man. It’s the event where the best gamers can come out and compete. All of it like EVO is shown on youtube btw. Anwyway, all the top fighting games during that time are hosted. Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Tekken 7, Street Fighter 5 etc. This year and of course if it is cancelled, this would happen this year. They’re bringing back Marvel vs Capcom 2. A ps2 game. This is something that has never happened. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is LEGEND in the fighting game community. This meant, or at least we were hoping. Capcom is setting up to release a Marvel vs Capcom 4. With al the characters that were taken out over the last 2 games, plus new ones from their other games we’ve been asking for, for years.
They’re still trying to recover from their last game, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. Which came out after 3 on the PS3, for the PS4, but flopped because though Disney had the license to Marvel. Sony at the time still had the rights to the X-Men. So unlike the previous games, there were NO X-Men in the game. Huge mistake by Capcom to think that would fly. The X-Men are huge part of most of the top of the world’s gamer rosters that compete at EVO etc. LOL,, I know I probably told you a bunch of stuff you have no idea about, or even care to know but it was just to give you a little background. I just found out about EVO a hour or two ago, so I’m pissed. E3 is everything to us and it’s already hard enough to wait once a year. Now that it’s cancelled, it’s like WTH.
